Leagues

10U: This league will usually place 9-12 players on each team. The goal of this league is to gain additional experience in the game of softball while fine tuning the skills gained from previous years. All girls pitch occurs at this level and pitching distance is 35 feet.  This league participates in the county leagues and does require travel.  A single elimination tournament will take place at the end of the season.

12U: This league participates in the county leagues. This league does require travel. Pitching distance is from 40 feet and the league follows the rules of the County leagues league. A single elimination tournament will take place at the end of the season.

14U: This league is recognized as our Middle School team.  This league does require travel as opponents are typically mirrored from the conference our school participates in. Pitching distance is from 43 feet and the league follows the rules of the Indiana Middle School Association.

High School: This league will be formed through Hamilton Heights High School.

Sunday Showcase/All-Star: This league will be selected from the Recreational League. These girls show higher skill level and desire to advance. This program provides Class C level playing opportunities beyond the Recreational League regular season. These teams are chosen from the 8U through 14U recreational leagues via tryouts. Play begins during the regular season typically on Sundays, participating in 3-4 tournaments. Tournaments are decided on by the All-Star coaches and Softball Commissioner with approval from the board.

**Requests to move up a division are strongly discouraged, but may be considered.  Any request must be submitted in writing to the HHASA Board of Directors. These players will be required to pass a skills test during evaluations in order to do so.
