This division is meant for the players to find a love for the game.  It is also to teach the very basic fundamentals and give each player a chance at all positions.

• 1 player per position
• Positions must be rotated among all players.  
• No player may play first base or pitchers helper more than two consecutive innings
• All "outfield position" players must be at the grass or at a minimum of one foot in the grass at the start of the pitch
• Maximum of 6 swings per batter.  5 coach pitch and 1 swing on the tee.  No exceptions.  If the ball is not put into play, the batter is considered out.  
• No base advancement on an over throw to first base or third base. 
• One base advancement is allowed on an over throw to second base.  
• Runner may continue to advance through the bases if the ball is hit beyond the infield baselines until an infield player gains control of the ball within the baselines.  
• No new inning to start after 45 minutes into the game, 60 minute drop dead time limit
• 3 outs or a bat through the lineup, whichever is first, and then the other team is up to bat.  The last batter in the lineup will round all the bases prior to the defensive team leaving the field
• 6u size softballs are to be used

Every defensive player must wear a face mask at all times on HHASA fields. 
Helmets are required for batters, base runners, and batters on deck.
